I am most often asked, “What curriculum do you use? How did you decide?”  Well this topic, LIGHTS ME UP!  We all know that the DEATHTRAP of a teacher’s JOY is not being able to teach what we feel matters or makes a difference in our student's lives!  Teaching to standards and measures beyond our means can lead to stealing our joy and ultimately destroys the love for what we do!

Have you ever said, "The curriculum we follow doesn’t allow us to XYZ. Your child is performing well below grade level and the curriculum is going at such a pace, it increasing the gap further." or "The curriculum or the standards causing us to be “trapped” in a box!"

Well, it's absolutely liberating to know that YOU GET TO CHOOSE the curriculum for your micro-school or homeschool! Today we focus on high-value education, choosing a curriculum with meaning, and knowing "Why" we are choosing a certain method or movement to ensure we are teaching with passion and expertise!
