Field Trips in Your Micro-school or Homeschool! 5 Tips for Engaged Learning, FUN Project-Based Learning Connections, and Outdoor Learning with Enhanced Student Engagement

Let’s admit it…who really wants to be stuck within 4 walls each day? Wouldn’t it be so great to take learning outdoors, go on field trips, connect project-based learning to real-life experiences, and bring on fun student engagement activities?

Being able to take learning beyond four walls is a wonderful blessing-not just for your students, but for you as the teacher and parent as well! Having your own microschool, learning pod or homeschooling business allows for so much diversity and engagement. After all, this is one of the main reasons others enjoy this type of learning- the possibilities and flexibility!

No matter how large or small your group is (and no matter if it’s just you and your own children right now) let’s get inspired, start planning and dreaming of the day you can travel, and teach these fun kiddos!

In today’s episode, I address 5 key takeaways for preparing field trips! These are often questions I receive in our Facebook group, and the topics are super valuable!! We discuss transportation, chaperones, insurance, money and budgets, planning, safety, and many other fun topics!
